Promo code popup
A promotion: a discount for people looking at prices.
What this template is for
On the pricing page people are already comparing and hesitating — a discount with a clear deadline helps them decide. The code is right in the window, no forms, no extra steps.
What the user sees
| Step | Anchored to | Copy |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | — | 20 % off your first year Code SPRING20 works until the end of the month. Enter it at checkout. |
The step anchors in a template are [data-tour="…"] placeholders. In the visual editor you point them at your own elements by clicking, or add that attribute in your markup; the copy is edited in the same place.
Why these defaults
- The /pricing page: the offer reaches people already thinking about buying.
- After 8 seconds: they have had time to look at the prices.
- Once: a repeated discount cheapens the offer.
- Priority 20 — above the tips on the pricing page.

What to measure after launch
Payments with the code per view. Views and clicks are in Clew; code redemptions are in your billing.
What to A/B test. Compare "20 % off" with "2 months free" — the same value often converts differently.
