Webinar invite
An event with a date: webinar, live stream, conference.
What this template is for
A minority opens the webinar email, while your users are already in the product. An invite with the date and one register button fills seats with the people the topic fits best.
What the user sees
| Step | Anchored to | Copy |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | — | Webinar: October 14, 5 pm CET How to get a user to first value in 5 minutes. 40 minutes; we will send the recording. |
The step anchors in a template are [data-tour="…"] placeholders. In the visual editor you point them at your own elements by clicking, or add that attribute in your markup; the copy is edited in the same place.
Why these defaults
- Date and time in the headline: an invite without them does not work.
- After 10 seconds: it does not get in the way of starting work.
- Once: neither the registered nor those who declined need it again.
- Unpublish it after the event — a stale invite hurts trust.
