"Invite a friend"
A referral program for loyal customers.
What this template is for
Recommendations come from people who already get value and pay. An invite on the 10th visit reaches regular customers with a clear benefit for both sides — so the program does not read as a favour.
What the user sees
| Step | Anchored to | Copy |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | — | A free month for you and a friend Invite a colleague: when they pay for a plan, you both get a month on us. |
The step anchors in a template are [data-tour="…"] placeholders. In the visual editor you point them at your own elements by clicking, or add that attribute in your markup; the copy is edited in the same place.
Why these defaults
- From the 10th visit: people have formed a view of the product.
- Audience: plan ≠ free — paying customers refer more, and better.
- The benefit for both is in the text: without it nobody shares.
- Once: the referral link stays in the account settings.
