Welcome back
A user is back after a week away.
What this template is for
People coming back after a break forget where they stopped and do not know what changed. A short "welcome back" with one link takes them back to work, not to searching.
What the user sees
| Step | Anchored to | Copy |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | — | Welcome back! While you were away we added Excel export. Pick up where you left off. |
The step anchors in a template are [data-tour="…"] placeholders. In the visual editor you point them at your own elements by clicking, or add that attribute in your markup; the copy is edited in the same place.
Why these defaults
- Audience: days_since_last_visit > 6 — send it with Clew.identify().
- From the 2nd visit: for people with history, not newcomers.
- Once per visitor: a welcome is not repeated.
- Priority 15 — below the money windows, above tips.
