When you need them
Before launching a campaign
Build UTM links with one naming convention, preview the search snippet, social card and email subject line so nothing is cut off or missing an image.
Offline: events, flyers, business cards
Make print-ready static QR codes that never expire, and tag every placement with UTM parameters so GA4 and Yandex Metrica show what worked after the event.
Proving that a channel pays off
Compare customer lifetime value with acquisition cost, see how many months CAC takes to pay back, and check whether referrals add real viral growth.
Testing messages and copy
Check whether a landing page or email variant really won, keep copy easy to read, and score what customers say about you.
FAQ
What free marketing tools does Clew offer?
A UTM builder, SERP snippet preview, Open Graph generator, email subject line preview, CAC payback, LTV:CAC, trial-to-paid and viral coefficient calculators, an A/B test calculator, a readability checker and an NPS calculator. All are free and need no account.
How do I build UTM links correctly?
Use utm_source for the platform, utm_medium for the channel type (cpc, email, social) and utm_campaign for the campaign, always in lowercase with the same separators. The UTM builder enforces a convention and builds links in bulk so reports do not split one source into several.
What is a good LTV to CAC ratio?
A common benchmark for SaaS is 3:1 or higher, with CAC paid back in under 12 months. A lower ratio means the channel spends too much per customer; a much higher one can mean you are underinvesting in growth.
How do I check if a marketing A/B test is significant?
Enter visitors and conversions for each variant in the A/B test calculator. It runs a two-proportion z-test, shows the p-value and confidence interval, and tells you how many visitors you still need if the result is not significant yet.
Why check the snippet and link preview before publishing?
Search engines truncate titles by pixel width and social networks cache the first preview they fetch. A cut title or a missing og:image lowers click-through, and fixing it after sharing often means waiting for the cache to refresh.
Is my campaign data sent anywhere?
No. The tools run in your browser. Inputs are stored only in the page URL so you can share the result with a colleague.
