When you need them
Before publishing a page
Fit the title and meta description into the snippet, prepare the Open Graph card for sharing, check that the text is easy to read and, for Russian pages, get a clean transliterated slug.
Crawling and international SEO
Decide what crawlers may fetch, test a URL against the rules before deploying, and generate reciprocal hreflang tags for every language version.
Tracking traffic from links
Tag campaign links with UTM parameters so analytics separates channels, while canonical URLs stay clean.
FAQ
Which free SEO tools are available here?
A SERP snippet preview, an Open Graph generator, a robots.txt generator and tester, an hreflang generator, a readability checker and a UTM builder. They are free, need no sign-up and run in your browser.
How long should a title tag and meta description be?
Google truncates by pixels, not characters: titles around 580–600 px (roughly 50–60 characters) and descriptions around 920 px on desktop. The snippet preview measures the actual width with the search result font and shows where the cut happens.
How do I test robots.txt before deploying it?
Paste or generate the rules, enter a URL and pick a crawler. The tester applies Google’s matching rules — the longest matching rule wins and Allow beats Disallow on a tie — and shows which line decided the result.
What does an hreflang tag need to work?
Every language version must list all versions including itself, the links must be reciprocal, codes must be valid ISO language (and optional region) codes, and an x-default should point to the fallback page. The generator produces the full set for HTML, HTTP headers or the sitemap.
Does readability affect SEO?
It is not a direct ranking factor, but text that is easy to scan keeps visitors on the page and answers the query faster. The readability checker scores the text and highlights long sentences and hard words.
Do UTM parameters hurt SEO?
Not when used on campaign links outside your site and the pages have a canonical URL without parameters. Avoid UTM tags on internal links: they overwrite the original traffic source.
